On the Jade Alexandria Photography blog, we like to share our latest shoots and even some personal stories. It's the perfect way to see what we are up to!
Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year (aside from summertime!🙌) There’s just something magical in the air. Family is a huge priority for me, and I feel like the holiday season including Thanksgiving all have this sense of togetherness that’s tied to the spirit of the season and I absolutely love it. I love decorating my home for the holidays. The warmth that the lights from the Christmas tree gives off and hunkering down in front of the TV wrapping gifts while watching Christmas Vacation, The Holiday, or Christmas with the Kranks (my three favorite Christmas movies!). Ultimately, the season for me is about creating memories with family. That’s why I am so passionate about Christmas Mini Sessions this year. We only get to experience THIS holiday season with our families ONCE! This is why it’s so important to document our family, you guys. It’s not about having pretty social media photos for me (though it is fun to have that!), it’s about having beautiful photos of our families that we can treasure and look back on years from now and remember how we were back then.
I had SO much fun at the Gamble Family’s mini session. They are SUCH a beautiful family, when they showed up for their session it was like they all stepped out of a magazine! And they are just as beautiful inside as they are out! Patrick and Lavada are the kindest people and they’ve taught their girls, Avidd, Asden and Alandry to be the just as kind. I had so much fun capturing these sweet sisters together, and getting lots of sweet moments of the entire family. Here’s some of my favorites from their mini session:
I just love these so much! If you’re looking to have Christmas Card photos taken this year, our Christmas mini sessions are the PERFECT time to get those done! For more information and to book a Christmas mini session, click here.
Can’t wait to share more Christmas minis and family sessions this holiday season!
XOXO,
Jade
